Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Bela:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
Growing up in a middle-class joint family taught me lessons that no classroom ever could.
Living with parents, grandparents, and a stream of visitors under one roof meant constantly adapting to different perspectives and personalities. Observing my grandparents’ traditional values, my mother’s resilience, and the financial limitations of a middle-class household shaped my outlook on life.
These experiences instilled in me two values that became my foundation:
– Resourcefulness in the face of constraints.
– Financial independence as a non-negotiable goal.
It took years of patience, perseverance, and self-belief, but I eventually built my own business. That dream, once just a flicker, became reality.
The journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been transformative. Every challenge was a stepping stone, every setback a lesson. Today, I stand as an Entrepreneur—grateful to the Universe for guiding me here. 💜
Please share with us about your journey as a ‘Parenting Wellness Coach’?
As I reflect on my journey, I see how every challenge, every lesson, and every moment of love has shaped me into who I am today.
My parents—role models of hard work, empathy, and kindness—instilled in me values that became my compass in life.
Over the years, I found myself drawn to helping others. Friends and family often turned to me for guidance on self-love, relationships, and personal growth, and I felt fulfilled offering support and encouragement.
But it was the loss of my mother that shifted everything. In my grief, I recognised the depth of her influence and discovered my true purpose: to honour her legacy by helping others heal and thrive.
That’s when I embraced my path as a Parenting & Wellness Coach. With lived experience and an understanding of the challenges women face, I committed myself to empowering them with the tools, confidence, and support they need.
Through free workshops and one-on-one coaching, I’ve witnessed women transform—gaining resilience, confidence, and clarity of purpose. As they grow, so do their families, communities, and the world around them.
My journey hasn’t been linear—it’s been full of twists, turns, and lessons. But every step has taught me that coaching isn’t just about helping others; it’s about healing and evolving ourselves along the way.
My mission is simple: to help women grow, heal, and become the best versions of themselves. I hope my story inspires you to embrace your own path, pursue your passion, and create meaningful change in the lives you touch.
What methods did you use to tackle obstacles and difficulties throughout your journey?
Setbacks are inevitable—but how we respond to them defines our growth.
Throughout my journey, I’ve faced challenges that could have easily derailed me. Instead of giving in, I learned to view every obstacle as an opportunity to grow stronger, wiser, and more adaptable.
I follow a simple three-step approach whenever I hit a roadblock:
Self-reflection – I pause, assess the situation, and extract key lessons.
Adaptability – I refine my strategy and adjust my approach to fit the new reality.
Perseverance – I stay committed to my vision, no matter how tough the road gets.
This mindset has turned setbacks into stepping stones—each challenge fueling innovation, resilience, and progress.
My takeaway? Obstacles aren’t meant to stop us; they’re meant to shape us.
In your opinion, how do you define success?
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—educationist, entrepreneur, and coach. Through every role, one truth has stayed with me: success is not defined by money alone.
For me, true success is measured by the depth of gratitude in our hearts. It’s about appreciating every milestone—big or small—that comes through effort and perseverance. It’s about recognising the blessings that surround us: good health, meaningful relationships, continuous growth, and the respect of our community.
Success, in its truest form, is a state of being. It’s about becoming a well-rounded, healthy, relaxed, and respected individual who radiates positivity and makes a difference in the world.
That is the kind of success I strive for every single day.
What advice would you give to someone starting their journey of success?
As you begin your journey to success, remember this: you are not alone. We’ve all been where you are—filled with dreams, doubts, and fears. But success isn’t just about achieving goals. It’s about growing, learning, and becoming the best version of yourself.
Here are three principles that have guided me—and can guide you too:
Consistency is key – Show up every day, stay focused, and keep moving forward.
Stay calm and trust the process – Don’t be too hard on yourself when things don’t go as planned.
Embrace failure – Every setback is a chance to learn, grow, and come back stronger.
Nelson Mandela said it best: “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
So rise above your fears, doubts, and limitations. Believe in yourself. Stay humble. Keep moving forward.
Success is not a destination—it’s a journey. It’s built on small wins, tiny victories, and lessons learned along the way. Celebrate your progress, however small it may seem, and never forget: you are capable of far more than you think.
